• All pre-paid treatment packages are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated.

• Packages must be used within the validity period. Any unused treatments remaining after the expiry date will be forfeited and are not refundable or extendable.

• Pre-paid packages are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, or retail products.

• Packages are valid only for the specific treatments purchased and cannot be substituted for alternative treatments or services.

• All treatments are subject to consultation, suitability, and practitioner approval at the time of each appointment.

• Treatments involving prescription-only medicines require medical consultation and prescription approval prior to each treatment session.

We use industry-leading Candela medical-grade lasers: the Alexandrite (755nm) for lighter to medium skin tones and the Nd:YAG (1064nm) for darker skin tones and tanned skin. These dual-wavelength systems deliver precise pulses of light that target melanin (pigment) in the hair shaft. The light converts to heat, damaging the hair follicle while sparing surrounding skin. This inhibits future hair growth for long-term reduction (often 70–90% permanent after a full course). Our treatments include Zimmer Cryo cold-air cooling, which blows a stream of chilled air (-22°C to -30°C) onto the skin before, during, and after each pulse—making sessions far more comfortable and reducing redness or swelling.

Laser provides permanent hair reduction—destroying or severely impairing the follicle so it can no longer produce thick, dark hair. Most clients see dramatic, long-lasting smoothness, though very fine regrowth or hormonal changes may require occasional maintenance years later.

After treatment, the damaged follicle stops supporting the hair, but the hair doesn't drop out instantly—it's still anchored in place. Over the next 1–3 weeks (typically starting 5–14 days post-session), your body naturally expels the treated hairs as part of its healing response. You'll notice hairs "shedding" or falling out—sometimes looking like stubble, tiny black dots ("pepper spots"), or loose strands that come away easily when you shower, exfoliate gently, or towel off. This is not regrowth; it's a positive sign the laser successfully targeted the follicle. Shedding varies by person, hair type, and laser (Nd:YAG may take slightly longer), but gentle exfoliation (like with our skinstitut 14% glycolic scrub) can speed it up. By 3 weeks, most treated hairs should have shed, leaving smoother skin until the next cycle of hairs enters the growth phase.

Hair grows in cycles (only 15–25% in the active "anagen" phase at any time, when it's most vulnerable to laser). Most clients need 10 sessions spaced 4 weeks apart . Facial areas may need more due to hormones; body areas often respond quicker.

Most describe it as a warm snap, mild pinch, or rubber-band flick—very tolerable thanks to our Zimmer Cryo system, which continuously cools the skin for superior comfort (many clients say it's virtually painless).

Absolutely—Candela lasers are TGA-approved, with built-in safety features and our Zimmer cooling to protect the skin. Side effects are usually mild/temporary (redness, slight swelling like a mild sunburn, resolving in hours). Risks like burns or pigment changes are rare and minimised by our experienced clinicians adjusting settings for your skin type/hair colour during patch tests and consultations.

Before: Shave the area 12–24 hours prior (no waxing/plucking/bleaching 4–6 weeks before). Avoid sun exposure/tanning/fake tan for 2–4 weeks pre-treatment. After: apply SPF 50+, avoid heat (saunas, hot showers, laying out in the sun), irritants, or exfoliants for 24–48 hours. Moisturise gently. Shedding is normal—exfoliate lightly to help it along.

Best for dark/blonde hair contrasts, but our dual Candela system (Alex for fairer skin, Nd:YAG for darker/tanned) treats a wide range effectively. Not ideal for very light, grey, red, or blonde hair (low melanin). Unsuitable if pregnant, on photosensitising meds, or with active skin conditions/infections. Hair sheds 2–3 weeks post-treatment. Noticeable reduction starts after 2–3 sessions; significant smoothness by 4–6. Full results after completing the course—smoother, finer regrowth (if any).

A Brazilian laser hair removal treatment comprehensively addresses the entire pubic region, from front to back. This includes the pubic mound (mons pubis), the bikini line, the external genital area (such as the labia for women or scrotum for men), the perineum (the area between the genitals and anus), and the perianal region (the skin surrounding the anus).

The treatment is fully customisable to your preferences. If you prefer to retain some hair on the pubic mound (e.g., a landing strip, triangle, or other design), simply shave or trim the area to your desired shape prior to your appointment, leaving the hair you wish to keep at its natural length. Our clinician will then treat all other areas while preserving your chosen design for a tailored, natural-looking result.
